Pulsed Radiofrequency

Targeted nerve treatment for long lasting pain relief.

Pulsed Radiofrequency

  • Targets pain signals
  • Minimally invasive
  • Supports improved movement

Pulsed Radiofrequency is a minimally invasive pain management treatment used for certain nerve related pain conditions.

Unlike traditional radiofrequency ablation, which uses heat to interrupt pain carrying nerves, Pulsed Radiofrequency delivers short, controlled pulses of electrical energy near the targeted nerve.

This helps change how pain signals are processed, without intentionally destroying the nerve tissue.

It may be considered when a specific nerve is contributing to ongoing pain and when conservative treatment has not provided enough relief.

It is often used in pain management for conditions involving nerve irritation, spinal pain, radicular pain and certain chronic pain syndromes.

Pulsed Radiofrequency may help:

  • Target pain signals
  • Reduce nerve related pain
  • Support improved movement
  • Improve comfort and daily function
  • Provide longer lasting relief for suitable patients

At Spine Intervention, treatment is carefully planned after a proper assessment to identify the source of pain and determine whether Pulsed Radiofrequency is the right option.
